The D-Serie synchronous drum motor conveyor belt drive is the most powerful, energy-efficient generation of drum motors ever developed. This product offers a high torque, eco-friendly energy saving drive solution for food processing, packaging, dynamic weighing and logistics. The combination of the energy saving synchronous motor and highly efficient gear transmission results in an extremely high energy yield. The motor has a power loss of only 9% and the steel planetary gearbox transfers 92-95% of the available power directly to the conveyor system, This means that the power loss is dramatically reduced when compared to alternative asynchronous drive systems.
Technical Benefits:
- The sensor-less control operates at a precise velocity at all speeds and has a consistent torque and speed range from 0.040 to 2.219 m/s.
- Performance settings can be easily adjusted using Interroll's IFI - IP55 de-centralised frequency inverter, significantly reducing installation costs.
- For servo-drive operation, the motor is fitted with an absolute encoder, resolver or other feedback system providing fully automated and accurate control over torque, speed, acceleration and positioning
- Full torque at standstill and acceleration of up to 151 m/s² can be achieved.
